Purpose of the service
Track My Stack is a record-keeping and planning workspace for physical precious metals and manually entered Bitcoin records. You supply the holdings and transaction details. The service does not hold assets, connect to banks, brokerages or wallets, execute trades, or provide a binding offer to buy or sell an asset.
Values and outcomes are estimates
Spot prices are provider reference values. Dealers can use different prices, spreads, premiums and fees. Resale values, quick-sale estimates, scenarios and break-even calculations depend on the inputs and assumptions shown in the app.
Reconstructed metals portfolio history is based on the activity still present in your ledger and the historical prices available to the app. It is not an audited valuation or a time-weighted investment return. See market methodology for the calculation boundaries.
The app does not determine a gift’s tax basis, a tax liability or an insurance replacement value. Use appropriate professional advice when those determinations matter.
Look after your records
Verify metal classification, fine-ounce content, Bitcoin quantities, dates, fees, proceeds and cash paid before saving. Keep copies of original purchase and sale documents. Metals and Bitcoin use separate JSON backups; export both periodically if you track both assets, and store them securely.
Use an account and a device you control. Do not attempt to access another person’s account, submit harmful content or interfere with the service. A security concern can be reported through Help & contact.
Availability and current access
Price feeds, news feeds and online sync can be unavailable or delayed. The app may show the last available price or an explicitly labeled fallback. In-app alerts are checked while the app is open; they are not a guaranteed background notification service.
Track My Stack is currently free to use, with no purchase or subscription required. File and storage limits apply. Review current access information and the storage model.
